Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 9, 2026

The short version

Baseline runs entirely in your browser. There's no account, no login, and no server this game talks to. Your quiz history, flashcard progress, and railroad save are stored locally on your own device and are never sent to us — because there's no "us" on the other end receiving it. The only outside party involved is the advertising network described below.

What we store, and where

Advertising & cookies

Baseline is supported by display advertising served through Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners use cookies and similar technologies (such as device identifiers) to serve ads, measure performance, and — where permitted — personalize the ads you see based on your visits to this and other sites.

Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. Depending on your location, you may also be able to opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting aboutads.info.

We don't control what data Google or its ad partners collect through these cookies — that's governed by Google's own Privacy Policy.

Children's privacy

Baseline is intended for MCAT candidates, who are generally adults preparing for medical school admission. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes — for example, if we add a new advertising or analytics provider — we'll update the date at the top of this page and describe the change here.
