About Baseline

What this is

Baseline is a free, self-contained MCAT prep tool built as a game rather than a study app you have to force yourself to open. Underneath the railroad — the depots, the trains, the prestige system — is a full adaptive quiz engine covering every official AAMC content category across Chem/Phys, Bio/Biochem, and Psych/Soc, plus a real CARS passage bank with timed and untimed practice.

The two are connected on purpose: answering questions correctly is what actually funds and grows your railroad. There's no separate "study mode" and "game mode" — playing the game is the studying.

How it works

• Runs entirely in your browser. There's no account, no server, and no sign-up.
• Your progress — quiz history, flashcard mastery, railroad save — is stored locally on your own device.
• Spaced repetition brings weak and overdue topics back around automatically; you don't have to manage a study schedule yourself.
• Everything works offline once the page has loaded.
